1: Bubble Shack - Based in Oahu, they create handmade products made with harvested herbs, flowers and other naturally grown ingredients from Hawaii. I discovered them at a booth at the stadium swap meet, but you can buy their high quality yet surprisingly affordable goodies online.
My faves:
Handmade soaps: Generously sized with a colorful swirly appearance, they come In a variety of floral & sweet scents reminiscent of Hawaii featuring organic/natural ingredients.
Shea butter & macadamia nut oil body lotion: A lightweight moisturizer with a kiss of scent. Feels great on the skin and makes you smell delicious. They have unique scents that remind you of the sweet treats of the island, such as Lilikoi Shave Ice, and my personal fave, Chocolate Malasada. Dessert for the skin…yum.
Pacifica: I love their soy candles, but they have the most decadent body butters in scents ranging from floral to sweet to spicy. Their boxed fragrance sets come with a small soy candle, body butter, and solid perfume in a gorgeous package that doesn’t need to be wrapped. I love the fruity scents like Brazilian Mango & Hawaiian Ruby Guava.
Lush: They’re known for their black packaging with stickers featuring the employee who hand made the item made with fresh organic fruit & vegetable ingredients. A bit pricey, but chock full of essential oils and other super nourishing ingredients for glowing skin. Their product line runs the gamut from bath & body, face, hair, fragrance, etc. My favorite items: Wiccy Magic Muscle Massage Bar (super tingly and perfect for post workout aches), super luxe Dream Cream, and the Ocean Salt Face/Body Scrub (pictured below). It’s got a vodka base and is incredibly scrubby to brighten your complexion. Hey, vodka makes me smile, so I’m not surprised it makes my skin happy too. :)
Lavanilla Laboratories: They sell the best body butters for winter skin that keeps you smooth in the harsh conditions and makes you smell sweet enough to eat. It’ll cost you a pretty penny, but those ingredients don’t come cheap. The tube design is super chic, making it gorgeous enough to leave out on display. Love love Vanilla-Grapefruit & Vanilla-Coconut.
